MITSOL SECURES THREE CITIES HOSTING CONTRACT

Mitsol Secures Three Cities Central Reservation Application Hosting Contract, Three Cities Group has teamed up with Mitsol (Pty) Ltd to host and manage the Central Reservations system hosted at Mitsol's data centre located in Durban, La Lucia Ridge. The prerequisite was to provide HA (High availability) as well as being central to the Network to allow any Three Cities Property the ability to connect through any medium or network. The solution demanded a fully outsourced service allowing Mitsol to take ownership and overall responsibility to do what we know best.
The solution, comprising of a Dell/EMC SAN environment is fully managed and hosted in our Data Centre. This has delivered a cost effective solution without the costly capital expenditure associated with the establishment of a hosting environment, allowing Three Cities to manage this as an operational expenditure with a predictable cost model, and relieving themselves of the burden of managing hardware/software upgrade paths.
Choosing Dell as the underlying server Hardware Platform and EMC to manage the demands of storage capacity planning and HA our Data storage we approached the design and implementation which will be sustainable to Three Cities growth.
Three Cities were looking for a partner who could provide a solution, that was fully redundant, from Network connectivity, hardware to supporting infrastructure, along with a single point of contact and accountability. Mitsol is fanatical about customer service, as a result has evolved from origins of low-end hosting to SMBs, to become extremely strong competitor in enterprise hosting.
